Dear students! Section PRO BOOKS to introduce you into the world of classic Russian literature. May 15th is the birthday of a Russian writer, medical doctor, playwright, theatre director and actor Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov (1891-1940). He is the author of novels, novellas, short stories, plays, film scripts and satirical articles written in 1920s. We offer for your attention two of Mikhail Bulgakov’s most famous works - “The Master and Margarita” and “Heart of a Dog”. “The Master and Margarita” is one of the most mysterious novels where fantastical and mystical is mixed with reality. Bulgakov often called it a novel about devil.
